The biggest event for automobile gourmet Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance 2011 was held at the Monterey Peninsula in California. In the resort destination collectors from around the world have brought about five hundred vehicles.

On Sunday, August 28 a small private plane was forced to make an emergency landing on a street in a residential district Shtokshtadt-on-Main in West Germany. When boarding the plane touched the wing of the house and damaged a lamppost. City police claims that the population no one was hurt, but both pilots received minor injuries. According to news agency DAPD - the reason the plane had an emergency landing - technical fault. Other details are not disclosed.

Architect Zaha Hadid completed design of the center of water sports for the Summer Olympic Games 2012 in London. The architectural concept is inspired by the dynamic form of water in motion. In Olympic mode building can accommodate 17 500 spectators, after the Olympic building a comfortable accommodation rearranged 2,000 spectators.
